Why did the stock plunge? I think it's because institutional shareholders are being intimidated in New York and in Chicago--publishing their names and addresses, and the implied threat of personal safety.
They said they will repurchase shares at historically low P/E levels only. The question is what value are they looking at to buy? Do you know any website that has a graph of historical P/E's for various stocks? I could do a spreadsheet and chart it myself, but I'm lazy. Also would be good to have an overlay of the S&P500 historical P/E. I know that the market is currently at 14.1 Forward P/E fwiw.
Yes, I think so also. It is due to political correctness pressure on Institutional Buyers, who ordinarily would be stepping in here. I think we will see them hold their noses and jump in in the coming week or so. Then the shorts will have to capitulate. Remember the 41% drop on fantastic fundamentals? I endured that one in my foxhole.
