      • I personally, can't wait for Christmas sales and earnings estimates. Yes we have 10% un-emplyment, and as depressing as this sounds, it is not terrible because when it comes down to it, the people who are employed are actually doing quite well.

This 10% un-employment is going to scare a lot of analysts and we're gonna see earnings and sales estimates that reflect that, especially in retail sector. This is good news for BKE, cause lets face it, all the teenagers that shop here have parents that are more than well off enough and therefore they will continue to buy through Christmas.

BKE management is not going to let its company miss estimates. If it has to, it has plenty of streamlining it can do to bring earnings well above estimates.

    • looking at the daily chart, the only volume 'spikes,' if they can be called spikes at this level, are green. To me, this signifies that the shorts can't get out at these levels; presently, they're having to wait out the longs who will not sell here.

the shorts are probably hoping for Thursday's sss report to be weak. It looks to be their last hope. I think we'll skin them alive after the report and running up to the ex-divi.

      just my opinion.
