Ok guys, I called earnings to the pennny last quarter and I'm going to make my prognostication again.
The analysts estimates are underestimating the effects of online sales and share buy-backs. Margins will be about flat with online sales offsetting a slight decrease in margins on Same Store Sales. BKE will show earnings of 75 cents.
This was more attractive in the mid-twenties, but it's still got some head room. The holidays will be good to BKE because buyers will be stepping things up a notch. People that went to Aeropostale last year will go ahead and splurge for higher end at places like The Buckle.
I've got to be honest... I am SO uncomfortable purchasing BKE at mid 30 levels. I don't know... high twenties are about as high as I go at this point. I know the holidays are looking good, but there always seems to be such high short interest in this stock.
