    Hudge Dividend Check

    BKE shareholders today received a whopping $2.25 special dividend and a .20 regular dividend. I received $546.00. Nice chunk of money. One would expect stock to fall after going ex-dividend, but this stock dropped only one day then climbed back up over 44 in the following days. I regret selling 300 shares last year at this time at 36, stock only climbed higher after paying fat divi. At least I was smart enough to hold onto 223 shares. This is a cash rich-no debt company that will only get richer in 2012.

      Hudge??? This is a way to short the short sellers in this stock. The special dividend came early this year to put the hurt on them, I think. Management here knows how to hurt those trying to hurt them! Works well for us longs!

      Hey guys, long time no see. I'm surprised to see that this hasn't seen more of a pull back after the special divy like it has in the past a few times.

      This is at over 15x earnings which is historically a pretty high multiplier. I've continued to look for a entry point (it was getting close to a "Buy" in my opinion when it got into the lower 30$ range), but I was looking at 30-31$ before I'd bite. I bought some at 26.x$ last year, and for whatever reason there almost always seems to be a good entry point on this one.
