Buckle has been consistently on the rise, and I think we have stellar management to thank for it. Steady and solid growth with careful oversight wins the game. One of my favorites in the retail sector, hope they continue to outperform.
Agreed. Fashion analysts still can't believe a company located in the middle of Nebraska can outperform retailers based in New York, but the numbers don't lie: BKE has one of the highest operating margins in the industry at 23%. Selling skinny jeans for $120 is highly profitable. Inflation is tame so I suspect margins will continue to be high and profits will be good. The company pays regular 1.4% dividend, but also has paid special dividend for past five years. Last December, the special dividend was 10% of the stock price. This debt-free company which produces massive amounts of cash is a long-term keeper.
