    Buy Back Rules

The 5 week time frame was in reference to the number of weeks until the end of quarter. The question is how quickly have they moved cash to cover purchases and how aggressive will they be. If they anticipate bad numbers next quarter they may save some buyback funds for after that announcement.

Hmm, I would not think that would pass scrutiny. It seems the safest thing to do is just buy them on a planned program and execute that plan. This helps reduce any insider knowledge issues like knowing they are going to miss and holding off till then to buy etc.
It seems the buy back can get real tricky to execute.
