I think it is a valid point to discuss seasonality at some point in the near future if you are a trend trader. However, I would caution you to not use the past history this time around. The devices that have provided major wins for OVT in the recent past as well as the devices that have landed OVT in all tier one markets again will change the data when determining seasonality.
Some devices will sell year round and peak around the Calendar 4th Q instead of being purely seasonal. Keep that in mind when you evaluate your charts or do your overlays. The trend may not be your friend this time around. Yesterday was a prime example of a flat line trading day. Those have always meant something in the past and I think it is wise to mark such events on your calendar for future reference. While they may not show up on the chart very well, they have always portended a pattern in the past.
That is an unfair generalization of people with positions that are not classified as trend trading positions. Long term holders will be rewarded over the coming 12-18 months with higher highs and higher lows but that does not make them wrong for holding long term. ...and for what it is worth, there are many here who do not "gibber" so pick your quarrels with the ones you are referring to and get on with it. I don't much care for being lumped into a pile for no reason.
Since your are bored, why not analyze the last few things Eric said before he became scarce and see if you can figure out the next short term trend that is coming for this security. I am sure he already knows but he is not very "gibberish" these days. What do you make of that?
