Is it true 4S buyers are upset

if so, it aint the chip. it must be the software needed to work with two differnet chips and get both of them to perform equally as well under all circumstances. It aint easy to do and this may be why customers don't dual source these things. It aint like memory chips or screens that have a very specific and industry standard implementation.
Apple may be learning why the hard way.
If it's really dual sourced, then let the support nighmare & finger pointing begin!

If it's all sony, it wont be for long!

    • I think you are way smarter than those Apple engineers.

      • It seems Apple camera has a lot of problems now.. Glad to find out it was with Sony's sensor on the teardown. Otherwise, OVTI would drop more!
OVTI always ensures their products are in good performance stage before launching into market...
UNlike SNE, they didn't really test their camera's performance... hahaha. SNE, what a loser!
Loser for Apple to choose their sensors!
However, it might be a production issue involving the testing/performance of OVTI's camera, so it caused a delay to iphone 4s; but I am pretty sure Apple will be more than happy to have a delay of OVTI, rather than recall of their iphones due to camera problems (SNE's poor sensor quality)
