    1. AAPL sold more IPad and IPhone 4, both of them carry 2 OVTI sensors.
    2. Low-cost smartphone shipments boom, says ABI Research. We know these phone most likely carry OVTI sensors.
Shipments of sub-US$250 low-cost smartphones are forecast to grow from 259 million units in 2013 to 788 million in 2018, said ABI Research. Mid- (sub-US$400) and high-cost (US$400+) smartphone shipments are expected to also rise from 635 million units to 925 million over the same period.

    • NTE who started making LCDs for AAPL in June 2012 had their stock triple and profits bulged in 6 months. Apple just forced their costs down and NTE will not supply past June 2013. Stock was crashing on rumors this month and today rumors were fact. Shades of OVTI and CRUS. If you want to be an Apple supplier, you take all the risk and they will drop you in a heartbeat.

    • Yeah, I am long but CRUS just said they got stuck with a lot of inventory from a product [Apple] just must have discontinued. If so, will that be a bomb waiting for us to or is it already accounted for with OVTI??
      Gotta pay to play..
