I'm confused
I saw this statement from business wire re UCERIS...." were numerically greater than placebo, but the differences were not statistically significant."

Not statistically significant? Sounds like the drug is not of particular benefit? Is that right?

  Don't be confused. Uceris at 9mg was statistically significant (as per statement), but Uceris at 6mg and Asacol showed no statistical significant improvement compared to placebo. But this doesn't matter at all as SNTS seeks approval for the 9mg dose.

    The fact that the effect of Uceris is dose dependent actually makes the statistically significant positive result at 9 mg slightly more believable as an actual effect and not an artifact.
