Doesn't look like one more pop to me. Why can't DXPE rally more than one day from such an oversold condition and with the market rallying? Simple: momo traders have left and lots of bag holders from 50s eager to get out. Look at how ERS can't even sustain a half day rally.
I learned a lesson from ERS and I hope new longs here can benefit from it.
I was short ERS from $55 to $64 and covered at $55, thinking there would be a pop. It didn't. The same thinking prevented me from reshorting from $55 to $20. In the end, ERS never seriously rallied from $64 to $20, despite a massive short interest (35% of float).
Why? When lots of people are in the house of pain, a stock can't rally.
short interest in this stock is a record 336k ($15M) this month. This company has consistently put out good news and this will pop on the first hint of news imho - so yes this is setting up for an impressive squeeze.
