Any bets on who runs first?

My guess is Sean. The most deluded of you longs have put him on a pedestal, practically worshiping him.
To see your god turn mortal must be devastating.

I'm guessing he'll bail and change his name because it's mostly his fault that a phone cult has been created around him.

Mr. Lee... I think he'll remain CEO for as long as this "company" is solvent. He's untouchable - living the high life scamming American marks and bringing much needed capital to his motherland.

    • Hard to say clowtee....

Lee will probably not resign and will take a leave of absence.

What he does after that is anyone's guess, but he will likely be in China trying to hold the company together. I would be watching his US properties to see if they are on the market or have been sold, If I owned this company.

The CFO probably will stay, some BOD members may leave and Kabani may be thinking it might be better if they put some distance between them and Lee...but it's too soon to tell..

I do expect Lee to try to litigate his way out of this however. To the detriment of the company, but that is how he he is the company. Without Lee, the company would only last a couple years..

      • Litigate? Not resign? He's facing criminal charges, prison time. He will be trying to save his ass from a forced retirement behind bars.

"In a parallel action, a criminal indictment against Mr. Lee was unsealed in federal court in Seattle, the SEC said."

      • Great analysis madaniels!

I agree. If I was a shareholder, I would be looking at all the US assets that Lee holds title to.

I also don't think the other board member/ executives have clean hands either. I believe it's Lee's intention to bear all the liability and shield all the other members of his crew. I don't know if the others' assets can be impaired tho.

For everybody's sake, I hope the SEC and courts can see thru this attempt by Lee to be the "sin-eater".

I think you're right. Shareholders invested in a man, not a company. It's been years and there is still
ambiguous ownership of the mines. It's like Lee says "Trust me" and all the longs just shut off their brain.
