No I'm talking about mechanical apptitude that you are born with. This is never learned in school but is what the better engineers have narurally. We all have different natural talents, some are great musicans, some are great artists, some are great engineers!
Hey new_bones….,So you can pick up some homeless person on the street then and let him had extensive knowledge of how to make things though because he learned it over the years by working in the shop then make a good engineer? Degree money cannot buy it babe, you have to earn it ...even working in the shop for the rest of your life until you die still: "NO DEGREE". No CREDENTIALs
Some of the best engineers I've worked with over the years didn't have degrees. Most of them had extensive knowledge of how to make things though because they learned it over the years by working in the shop. A degree does not make a good engineer, but the education never hurts anyone.
Hmmm...Insider told me that. He is a Product develoment engineer with out an engineering degree. He don't have any glue what is 15% of $147.38, even estimate numbers....and his boss...even more stu...er.
They need to train more workers. They treat their skilled employees like a very replaceable commodity. That will be the downfall of this company! Short term vision makes for very bad long term prospects. I've seen this before in large corporations. Treat your employees like crap and morale goes down and management wonders what the problem is??????????
