Spectrum licensing two recently approved Onc/Hematology drugs.
Spectrum is going to partner and acquire two additional Onc/Hematology drugs to market in 2013. Sales force management layers are being added to add these products and expand the sales force from 60 to 600+ within the year.
Even if this is only a wishful dream, the possibility of such an event, is still useful inthat it would increase worries of those shorts who have not covered.
Has anyone noticed that Dr. Shrotriya is not cringing behind a cactus because there will be some Leucovorin available in the US? He is preparing for growth with Keller in charge of marketing. What is Keller up to? He has created a plan to sell and now putting his soldiers in place to implement his strategy. Rag's in charge of getting drugs approved and manufactured.. He will delegate which is why he wants experienced and successful people to handle manufacturing and clinical trial design.
Why does SPPI need 6 RDs for a sales force of 60? i.e. less than 12 Reps even a DM can manage 4x that many reps. What is being built is a Sales Force management layer that can handle 600-1200 reps. Call the Co. and ask them.
Hint: Look at some Onc/Hema drugs owned by #$%$ recently approved or near approval in US.
