    • I disagree with PK on his recommendation to buy PKT..
It is overvalued at the current levels... It should be trading at the low teens.

On the other hand, SPPI is still lower than it was on August 2012, thus I'm not sure why you guys are so happy with SPPI's performance.

Almost every stock in my watch list outperformed SPPI in 3,6,9 and 12 month period.

    • I gave you my gift earlier, String (it was disguised), but I bought it at $6.39 this morninig (*~^)....that's all I have to say about the situation! Love my SPPI!!! Shorts are really starting to squirm. B4 you know it, they will pop their heads out of the ground and the birds will eat them, ha, ha, ha!!!

    • It's January 14th and you are declaring PKT as a bad gift? Now that is some funny stuff.

PKT will be back in the mid-$20s by year's end, maybe even approached $30. No worries there.

Keep in mind I liquidated SPPI in the mid $14s back in the summer. So tell me about all the money I left on the table all you want.

PKT out performs SPPI in 2013. And it won't be close.

      • Hey PK, how much have you lost on PKT? 40% may be. Since you have become a Financial Advisor, tell us what are you buying or shorting?

      • yes yes,,,,,,,i understand completely professor........... but as of this moment in time, on planet earth,,,,, your post within this thread responding to my original post,,,,,,,, you implicitly acknowledge ( which i know based on ur postings) that you did enter PKT in the twenties and today it sits at mid seventeens.
AND YOU PERSIST IN ADVISING FOLKS TO LEAVE SPPI FOR STK SYMBOL "pkt"

OH, YOU LEFT MONEY ON THE TABLE YOUNG MAN......... THE DAY AFTER YOU SOLD THE ENTIRE MB WAS COMPUTING THE MONEY YOU LEFT ON THE TABLE THE VERY NEXT TRADING DAY !!!! I CAN PULL UP THOSE POSTS AND REHASH YOUR TRADING HISTORY FOR YOU ..................

pkARNETT83..........YOUR DEC 28 POST ON PKT MB SAYS "THIS STOCK SHOULD BE 25/SH BY NOW........... "(paraphrase) and you previously explained that since all the 2012 selling was over in pkt,,,,,,,,,you fully expect the longs to buy back into pkt in january 2013..............
I RELUCTANTLY note that your analysis so far has been approx 100 % incorrect on pkt. but of course you made a fortune on sppi so you can afford to jerk around with pkt and absorb some loses. please remember your own advice: dont get married to pkt.............good riddanc...........luck, i meant luck,,,,,,,,really dude.........the riddance was meant for another messg board.................... ay caramba !!!! este hombre is muy loco !!

      • Really PK, Here's what you had to say about your "gift" last week.
        Good company, bad stock

Pretty soon it's going to be right near the 52 wk low, despite all these wins and a high overall market. I think it's going to take at least one year or more to determine whether the acquisition was a positive or not. Meanwhile, the market surely isn't going to give PKT the benefit of the doubt.

I'm not optimistic for any solid stock performance in the near term. The sector has fallen out of favor for the time being.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy
