DD personal update on class action lawsuit - IMO, case closed
I talked to the attorneys and conclude its pointless for anyone to join. Apparently, I don't qualify, and even if I did, after those discussions, I wouldn't add my name to a list, My conclusion: the only winners in an out-of-court settlement will be the attorneys, as usual. SPPI officers and directors have insurance, which is the only amounts the attorneys will collect from, if successful in their litigation.
Regarding the Securities Exchange Commission - they are poorly run. If it took them over a decade to figure out obvious Madoff, they sure aren't going to be able to prove anything against SPPI management. At least this is a legit corporation. The worst case for SPPI, a minor slap on the wrist, if at all.
I have no further questions to this message board on these topics, I'm now satisfied.
To the ONE poster who shared some DD, Thanks Again !!!
Finally, to those who accused me of being a fake poster ..... your apology is already accepted.
Agree, case NOT closed. However, based on Friday phone conversations, I shared my personal opinion final outcome. As I said, IMO case closed. In other words, I don't see this amounting to anything significant. In the end, if it plays out like I suggested, we will be saying "they got away with it."
