Do you think we'll see a small pop after yesterdays large drop? Anyone playing CSCO and/or ATVI into earnings? Who is buying GME under $50???

    • Well depending on what you think Chambers will say tomorrow you may want to sell them before or after 9:40AM EST. He's talking on CNBC then so you have 10 min to trade before he speaks.

    • can you say value trap? Don't feel bad alot of us got sucked into this piece of crap. I mean 52 week lows, company hitting/beating numbers the stock should be at $30.00 except for the nutjob of a CEO it has. 12 BILLION of market cap gone. Chambers cost CSCO 12 BILLION dollars tonight. I wonder what it feels like to cost your company 12 BILLION dollars? Must be a rush..

    • maybe I'll sell you mine. I should have listened to myself last month and stayed the hell away from CSCO. 2 years is still plenty of time butit seems like dead money for at least the next 6 months after this report. Will see how it trades after the frrst wave of selling tommorrow. If it tanks you can have mine. And I'll be glad to be rid of them. CSCO has been my worse trade each time I've went to that well. On any bounce I'm thinking of buying some puts on RIMM their next in line for the fall

    • I put an order CSCO Jan(10) $15 @ $7.75 to avg my position down. We'll see if it's Crazy or Opportunistic over the next 2 yrs...

    • It would be nice to get a bounce. What were the lows of two weeks ago? Did you watch Fast Money tonight? The chartologist believes that we will continue to go down from here.

As far as Chambers goes, I just don't get it. This market isn't very friendly, I have no idea why he would blurt out such negative statements. he had to have known how it would be received. Did they want to buyback stock on the cheap?

Not sure what to do with CSCO options. I'd like to think we are near a bottom, although I though CSCO was near a bottom after their last report.

    • rough doesn't describe it. On the plus side sharp down days leads to oversold conditions so we may get a bounce after the open and we may get to massive oversold levels at the low of 2 weeks ago. which would suggest that we bounce off the lows. I didn't think we would get to those lows again but it appears that Chambers was bent hell or high water to get us there. I will NEVER buy into CSCO again. that is twice he screwed me on good/great earnings. the man should not be left out of his office on earnings day. He has no idea how to talk to wall street. He destroys three months of his work by one comment every time. Why even go to work if you are just going to flush all your hard work the the drain?

Maybe after his company loses another 12 BILLION in market cap tommorrow he might get the idea. 12 BILLION in market cap up in smoke because of this man. the board should fire his ass post haste.

Add into that all the Billons he is going to lose for every investor in the tech market.

Now the question is should I sell my long term options tommorrow or hold and hope he keeps his mouth shut over the next two years? I am very tempted to sell and take the loss just so I don't have to deal with this CEO again.

    • Between CSCO and retail sales tomorrow should be a rough day.

    • something about "challanging times for the forseeable future" meaning quarters to years. What an ass. On the plus side looks like the shares hit bottom, bad news it hit it at 21.30ish

    • What was said, I am uable to listen to the conference call right now.

    • Chambers is a dipshit. He basically just cost people billions of dollars. he has no idea what things are going to be like a year from now.
