    riddle me this.

maybe nothing happened because the cost for solar was too much. But it takes time.

In 1962 we didn't havbe 6 billion people coming online either. The world is very different than in the 1970's.

the 70's oil crisis was caused by suppliers cutting off poil. There was plenty of supply out there. as soon as oil was made available again the prices drove down. There was not enough DEMAND to meet supply.

today the demand is there. Addtional supply will cause prices to drop maybe by half to $2.50 a gal but the gerowth in demand will keep alterniative energy in the spot ligth.

You have two choices. Have an energy led depression or increase supply. there is no other option. the market is telling you all this if you want to pay attention.
