Can you say bucking the trend? I had to move my sell orders for the calls I bought yesterday up above a double.. It think I may get more than a double today on my Aug 45s :) Not bad for a 2 day trade.
Well you're going to have to move your orders again because that article in Barrons was written by a newbee who had to come up with a story. Here's my story: Yes I believe they are somewhat priced to perfection but at the same time gaming is in more than ever. People are going out less for all those market reasons and they are playing games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This stock will beat e. estimates and they'll be pounding the table again!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL! I can definitely say there were days that I wished I was AWAY from the comp. when I made a move based on one of the BS head-fakes the market is so god at giving.
Remember a couple of months ago when the oil inventory data came in and it was like the lowest supply they had seen in 20 years, but then later it turned out that it was because there were still ships at sea (IMO this was blatant market manipulation)?
I was short oil through USO puts and was already up 100% on them, but when that inventory report came out I immediately sold for no gain on fears of a big oil rally. A few minutes later when the news came out that the data was incorrect oil crashed hard and I would have been up triple my money.. This market will drive you nuts sometimes! Beating the crooks at their own game can be difficult, but I've done very well over the last 7 years trading stocks. It's only been the last year that it has really became tough for me to make money in the market. I'm actually losing money so far this year, but have been getting closer to even..
Nope.. I have been away from the computer all day. I really should have put a market sell order to get rid of the rest of my Aug 45s at the open, but too late now. At least I can't lose on the position and with some luck GME could get back to near 45 by end of next week.
I sold half for a double so now I have a free position in the Aug 45 calls. Bought them for 1.10 and sold for 1.20. I would have gotten more, but had to be away from the comp. for a few hours so put a sell order right at a double. I also decided not to sell the entire position, because I think GME could see 46-47 this week IMO.
