admitted to by Obama in his own book. some indepth on frank Marshall:
However, through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his "poetry" and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just "Frank."
The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.
but I guess COMMUNISM IS GOOD FOR THE STOCK MARKET. idiots. read research and learn. forget the pretty words and understand who Obama really is.
Ok. ask yourself why the price of the shares goes up when a company lays off people? God you really shouldn't be investing. You ever see the share price of a company when it becomes a union workforce? Hint it isn't good.
With every post you prove your lack of knowledge.
Capitalism is about the bottomline. They want to keep costs low. They don't want 8 hr work day. They don't want to pay for sick days. Socialism and unions go hand and hand. communism is a form of socialism. /know /i know why Obama is doing so well. People like you have no idea what the hell you are talking about. The pippiper Obama is leading you to aland of sunbeams and unicorns and you are to ignorant to understand where he is taking you.
Workers rights is the bane of Capitalists. I find this part of capitalism wrong but it is there.
Learn some history.
You are really messed up, I sure wish you realized that. Now you want to change the definition of Socialism to prove your point. There are plenty of businesses that don't provide Medical benefits. I personally don't know of any that provide food and shelter, except if an employee travels for the company. There isn't any law saying a company has to hire union members. The unions may be thugs and brow beaters, but that doesn't make them a Political system. They may think Socialistic, but what does that have to do with the point I was trying to make about workers benefits? Regardless of how they came about, they were needed and are still needed for Capitalism to work. If something is needed for a form of government to function, then that should be part of that form of government.
You are so screwed up in the head with Socialism and Communism, that if I helped an old lady across the street, You'd be screaming I was a Communist. You need some serious mental help.
you might want to look at all the times the dems in the Senate filabustered the regualtions for Fannie and Freddi. this entire economic mess can be laid at socialist policies run amok. you do not LEND poor people money. either give it to them outright or don't give ity to them. Poor people are poor for a reason. it is not a birth defect, it is not evil capitalists trying to keep the poor down. It is because of their actions, their work ethic. Their choices.
the fannie and Fredie are great examples. These people were given a chance to get out of poverty. but because they didn't know about interest rates, managing money, home ownership, etc they failed.
You want to make a poor person rich educate him in capitalistic theory. not throw money at them.
Unions not socialists? You have got to be kidding me right? socialism is not simply a governmental mandate.
socialism: A political system where the means of production are controlled by the workers and all things are shared evenly. Socialist policies provide for government funding of many basic needs such as food, shelter, and medical care.
in the above definition replace the term government for business and you have a union.
Capitalism does fine, but the Clinton administration enacted legislation that made it virtually impossible for lenders to turn down risky borrowers for the last decade. Capitalism was stopped by Clinton and the Dems in favor of giving anyone with a pulse a loan for 10s or 100s of thousands of dollars that they didn't have the income to pay back.
Did you miss the "Clinton Administration" post (it's near the top)? A lot disagree with the article (based on nearly 20 bad ratings), but none have spoken to WHY they disagree yet. Would you like to the be the first? It's hard to disagree with facts IMO.
well at least it's hard to give reasons for your disagreement; most just try to change the subject like they are politicians themselves.....
The Unions were not formed by the Government, they were formed by the people. They were necessary at the time, so Americans could fight for the right to be treated like human beings in the work place. The Unions were the voice of the worker at the time, and helped bring these needed changes for Capitalism too work. Of course, overtime they became corrupt like most organizations, when the greedy, self serving type individuals became the leaders
I don't see anything socialistic about Unions. People have the right to Strike in a free society. If they demand more then they deserve from their employers, what does that have to do with Socialism? Come on, that's the Capitalistic way.
