You guys are all excited about 2% pop off of this buy back news? I hope you are not the investing money for the kids in this thing. Video game sales are tanking! Explain why and how does this make GME profitable going into the future??? Anyone?
Gee whizz dude you really don't get it about GME do you? When nobody is buying your games your merchandise you tend NOT to profit as well and what happens after profits fall? Come on you can do it... do you need a hint what happens? MUCH more downside than any upside on this stock.

Joshua, most of the people on this board are retards who bought at 25 or ever 30 and forgot to use a stop loss, because they are going "long term", they had no idea that "long term" they could have bought this thing in the teens. Don't even bother with them, they will never come up with any reason why this stock could go higher, other than Bioshock 2 is coming out, or something to that effect.
That's what I figured you guys have NO explanation how they are going to make a profit this year with video game demand down so greatly. Thanks for the poor response just helps prove my point that much more. Watch N Learn
"That's what I figured you guys have NO explanation how they are going to make a profit this year."
It's pretty hard to take someone seriously who doesn't understand the definition of "profit".
From their holiday release: "Full year diluted earnings per share are forecast to range from $2.23 to $2.27"
Hey there Josu. The market appears to have an equal number of bad trades/investments & good ones, after all there's two sides to every buy/sell. I guess it just depends which side of the trade you're on. Buy & hold does work for you if you pick a good company & hold long enough. I guess since Alcoa went down today that they are finished as a company and are somehow screwing there investors, I don't think so. Don't know whether you are a long or a trader or an employee who is dissatisfied, but make your market decisions and go with them. If you are right and others are wrong then you come out ahead. GL to ya friend.
