    Steam Forums Hacked

    http://www.gamespot.com/news/steam-forum-hackers-gain-access-to-information-6344762?tag=newstop%3Btitle%3B1

And I bet everyone thought VALVE would never become a victim....Well actually I should say Customers of VALVE.

The reality is that now I have to go and change my STEAM password as part of what I will be doing while installing SKYRIM.

Problem is that one can not change passwords tonight with way too much pre-dnloading of SKYRIM going on.

    *sigh*

Stupid Hackers hacked into the forums and were able to get people's personal information including address, and credit card numbers.

    Yet more identity theft.

Luckily, I never registered much less posted anything in STEAM forums....I don't think....Nonetheless Valve recommends that everyone change your STEAM password.

P.S. Now you see why it is retarded that SKYRIM forces you to have STEAM in order to play it?

    • If this had been an impulse only title you would have been touting the reasons why it was the best move ever.

      • IMPOSSIBLE! Can't happen!

Impulse doesn't work like STEAM does. There are ZERO games on IMPULSE that lock itself to IMPULSE.

Any digital dnload you buy that IMPULSE has, but you bought it on STEAM or ORIGIN or D2D or other... There never will be a time where you have to register/install the game into IMPULSE just to play it.

The fact of the matter is that IMPULSE team and GAMESTOP are going to take the exact same approach as STARDOCK.

And that approach is to never force video gamers to have IMPULSE up and running just to play your purchased game.
