    BBY vs. GME

Here is an interesting observation: A little over a year ago, on 11/30/10, BBY closed at $42.72 and GME closed at $19.92. (GME was priced at less than half of BBY). Today, BBY is trading at $23.25 and GME is at $23.95!

For a company where shorts for years have been claiming GME has a dead business model, it sure has outperformed BBY. A year ago, Wall Street loved BBY and investors were worried BBY's used game initiated would hurt GME's profits.

I think there are far too many shares of GME sold short, and if GME continues to outperform the market, a short squeeze is a distinct possibility. (GME probably won't go parabolic as happens in some short squeezes, but I can certainly envision an ascent above $30).
