    Question for long time shareholders

How long have you owned stock in this company, and what is your take on management? Do you have confidence that they have the business smarts to use their cash to stay on the cutting edge of this industry as it evolves? To me, that's the big question. Building this business was easy when they were in the sweet spot of this market. Being able to adapt to changes in the industry are what seperate the Steve Jobs of the world from others such as the former CEO of Circuit city.

    • Sweet Spot? Go dig through early 90s articles about how video game rentals were going.to destroy Gamestop and other retailers.

The industry keeps innovationg and Gamestop management was able to evolve with it just fine for 2 decades. Their track history shows how they have adjusted to ups and Downs. Sega Dreamcast didn't sell and Sega CD was a failure before that system...

Nintendo Gamecube failed to be a success like N64 and WII. Yet here we are proclaiming the death of bricks retail as if 2012 is the only era of retail struggle and challenges.
