    Is Gamestop listening to Varchild?

I feel like I am being listened to. Now, I didn't research this like I normally do and just ask someone to explain what is really going on.

But...I stated over and over here and on www.fool.com about the potential of Gamestop's IMPULSE canabalizing sales from their retail stores.

And unless Gamestop wants to shut down all of their retail stores in favor of being an online only retailer....Unless that's their long term model...

There was only a few limited solutions to the crisis.

One of the solutions I brought up was to push SOME digital sales...SOME "IMPULSE" sales to the Bricks Stores.

I mean ultimately, IMPULSE is owned by Gamestop. How the money that is earned in a sale of a digital product whereever and however it is purchased is figured out by the Gamestop Management/Administration. I couldn't care less.

I just didn't want to see all of these bricks stores losing out on digital sales completely, leaving themselves high and dry for failure.

The solution is to have customers walk into retail store outlets and purchase a Digital product inside the store...effectively moving the cash to the stores, instead of Impulse.

That was what I said...It is all archived here and on Motley Fool and if I took the time I could find it and bump it up here.

So imagine my surprise when there was a PC DOWNLOADS booth with "Digital Video Game" versions of games for sale.

It appeared to me....GAMESTOP is in fact selling Digital Products of various Games....Through their BRICKS stores now.

    hmm....

Just cause they took my advice doesn't mean anything until we have a track history to determine if this will work or not. I believe it is the right thing to do....I think it will extend the life of the Bricks Stores without doing any harm to IMPULSE.....But, ultimately only time will tell.
