When Activist Investors Unload DD, Watch Out!

Profit-taking Will Slam Shares of Futilely Shrunken DuPont, the Reeling Remnants of a Once Powerful Icon

    Good Afternoon, Bonsoir, Guten Abend,

Readers & Fellow Investors, we believe the last ten points of DuPont's rise this summer past is the Peltz bump. The bump occurred as investors piled in thinking that activist investor Nelson Peltz might bring some long-awaited relief and permanent reformation to this very sick Delaware-based conglomerate. But the commercial reality is little has changed. The first response of Ellen Kullman, DuPont Chieftess, to the disclosure Peltz had taken a substantial stake in her fiefdom was to lard herself with a potential going-away gift of $50 million via the DuPont Board of Derelict Directors she dominates as "Chair". Worse yet, she jiggers the bylaws and pops a nasty poison pill into the gut of this crumbling conglomerate to repulse any takeover that might release value.

So what is left, sans chemicals, sans SAFETY products like glass and vinyls?

    1. The same entrenched, inept and unethical DuPont Management which slammed the conglomerate into reverse more than a decade ago and pushed down the pedal, the same Management who gave you the massive DuPont Imprelis consumer product fraud costing $billions, and

    2. Mostly a motley collection of businesses in DuPont AG & NUT, also-ran businesses following world leaders, such as Monsanto, Syngenta, Scotts MIRACLE-GRO, Novozymes, and BASF.

We believe at 61, DD is over-priced, substantially over-priced given the long downward trajectory of this malmanaged and mismanaged conglomerate and its dim future prospects as a second-rate food and fuel play.
When the word gets out that the hedge funds are buying puts with abandon, and dumping DD shares, taking profits, you will see DD cliff-dive. Merely our humble opinion.

And merely THE WEAK IN REVIEW brought to you by one individual investor and long-time student of the
    Management-degraded DuPont in decline...funfun..
