Mike Mayo Sizes Up Bumbling Ex-Über Boss of DuPont
Calls the Grinning Gladhander, Chad Holliday, "A Figurehead Without Banking Experience".
THE SUNDAY SIZE-UP
Good Evening, Bonsoir, Guten Abend,
Folks, well-known veteran banking analyst, Mike Mayo, weighed in on the corrupt, mismanaged Bank of America this week past on the occasion of the Bank's annual meeting. With a few precise and stinging words, he sized up Chad Holliday, the Bank's Chairman of the Board of Directors to the "T". We couldn't have said it better:
With a tagline, "Not clear chairman up to the task," Mayo wrote:
"The CEO ran almost the entire meeting, and chairman Chad Holliday only gave a few curt and mostly nonresponsive answers, establishing him in our minds as a figurehead without banking experience. ... "
"Also, he had a poor track record for a decade as CEO of DuPont. per CLSA's agricultural analyst Mark Connelly and Chemical analyst Nils-Bertil Wallin, 'Chad Holliday ran DuPont during a period of dramatic expansion and innovation in the chemical and [agricultural] sectors. During the period, DuPont struggled to keep up in [agriculture], and set and reset performance targets that were rarely achieved, underperforming its peers.' ... For the decade that Holliday was CEO (December 1997 to year-end 2008), DuPont's share price was down 58% and the S&P 500 was down 7%." [Motley Fool, John Maxfield, May 10, 2014]
With only a generic degree in "industrial engineering" (whatever that is) at the U. of Tenn., Mr. Holliday with no earned advanced degrees according to his official bio published previously at the DuPont Webbed-Site, has little financial or accounting background.
Merely THE SUNDAY SIZE-UP digitally penned by one individual investor and long-time student of the de
graded DuPont in decline...funfun..
You are probably wondering why we've chosen to post DuPont garbage on the SYT board - funny thing is that WE are too.
Seems once we got kicked off the DuPont board and no longer are allowed to post there without being slapped with a lawsuit, we've had to wonder onto SYT and GM boards just to stay relevant.
Too bad DuPont fired us 12 years ago. We loved our paycheck and the perks for being a DuPonter that we've now lost. Why we even lost that union stipend we earned for a few years posting for DuPont unions angry with Chad Holliday!
Did we tell you about how much money we lost on WaMu?
NAME THEFT and continuing harassment from the cyberstalkers from the DuPont Management camp, folks. Many of the hostile hecklers over the months have not only admitted, but bragged they work for DuPont as DuPont employees and bonus-paid DuPont Managers. Seems in the year 2014, the face of DuPont is the unethical trash you see all over the internet, peddling lies against any investor or reader daring to question the performance or quality of DuPont leadership.
