As a logical view; something that seldom applies to the stock market, it would be somewhat nieve for a family (the Weiss's) that have run this (AM) company for so many years and in the complete know of the companies financial and perspective analysis of said; to think they would entertain even making and offer for the company if they didn't think it was a smart money making move that would reward them handsomely down the road - and naturally they also would want to gain the company for the minimal amount possible.
That said, I think we could get a second offer of $22. a share from (?) as a fair and respectful alternative and that would negate all the legal and speculative back and forth drag-on for months deal.
Lets have the Weiss's step up and be fair about their offer and eliminate all the back door negotiations already created via all the legal attorney ambulance chasers I see posting stories already on the News Pages listed under AM asking stockholders to contact them.
Their out to make a buck too.
