Hi, I've got some cash in my account now, and was just wondering if anyone here knows of any small caps that look like they might have good upside potential.
Thanks, and good luck to all.
TINY---they have a portfolio of 30 nanotech companies including one firm engaged in quantum computers..
RVLT--(formerly NEXS) hot hot hot LED lighting sector..Looking for consolidation...
KOOL---regenenerative/stem cell play with an emphasis on storage..
GRVY----engages in the development and publishing of online games in Japan, Taiwan, Brazil, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Russian Federation.
SLP---computer modeling for the pharma industry.
Disclosure: I am long all five of these companies..
Perhaps somewhat surprisingly I agree with John here. What little DD I have done so far on MIMV suggests that they have A LOT of potential in their space. And this is what gets companies like MIMV bought out. I don't presently own any MIMV, but I do currently have a little extra cash that I am thinking of throwing at them. Although I am waiting for a little more of a price pull back before I pull the trigger.
I am not like John in that I won't day trade them. Instead I look for value as a long term investor. However, in this particular case that long term might be as short as six months or as long as a year or two, before they are acquired or hit a two or three multiple return.
More DD is definitely warranted here, but MIMV could prove to be an excellent buy.
