I don't think the numbers are going to significantly contradict. I'm still going with $20 - 21$ M revs, -0,02 to -0.03 EPS. I think that's fine for now; even revs as low as $18 M wouldn't be 'bad', although I would say that -0.04 or below would be a negative.
As you point out, CEO credibility is a little scarce, given the number of times we've heard that prosperity is just around the corner.
Can you think of any reason that would not be positive for Darren taking the MCZ story to institutions and other investors at this time (next Wednesday)? This is not a conference previously presented at and not the time of year of any previous presentation. It occurs in very close proximity with an earnings report and appears to have forced MCZ to expedite the earnings report and even do a Monday release, something (a Monday release) I never recall happening before. Again, can you think of any reason MCZ would choose this occasion to sell itself if it had nothing good to say??...... especially given the fact that the listener knows your best time of year (holiday season) is close at hand and will likely only be intrigued toward investing if you can express amply explicit favorable expectations about this most-important period of the company's annual business cycle.
