Long action terrible down over $5 from highs just 2 days ago.
I reluctantly shorted at $72 and was happy with one point but went long at $70. This stock is erratic now I hold the loser down $3 with no news. I believe in the story with a cold winter but do not understand the price action here. I really thought we were going to $75 soon and higher by earnings in Jan. Bad timing.
Not sure how long you have been following this stock before buying in, but let me tell ya, these swings happen all time. You know that 1/3 of stock is sold short. There are forces at work to make it abnormally volitile. If you want to be in this game, just ignore it and look at the big picture. There is a great business driving this stock with solid sales. So why would you short this stock for a one dollar gain and then all of a sudden think that it would reverse at exactly 70? I hope you're only playing with your lunch money.
