and there just isn't enough population or wealth for Lynas stock to approach its price potential--much less than California! North American ree miners soar today while we await the sleepy and out-of-it ASX to open and the too few people in-country to push up the stock to its justified price. Down Under is just too parochial to realize potential.
I think that you are missing the point of my post!
I think that LYC is currently the BEST play in th REE market and has no equal.
The post that you referenced is why I believe so!
As far as the potential price of LYC stock goes this will not be a $50 stock like MCP because of the difference in outstanding shares.
I really don't understand why companies like MCP and REE are doing as well as they are! MCP is still over a year away from production and with Moonbeam being inaugrated in the next few days I would'nt bet on it! The mine was shut down due to environmental reasons and those conditions still remain.
REE has nothing except a promising property and at best 4 to 5 years away from production.
LYC is currently in the drivers seat! They will come into their own this year. I am a long and nothing else!
Does any one know the time frame it takes from application to listing on the AMEX?
Lynas does Qualify to list on AMEX.
Standard 3 •Under this standard, the company needs to meet a minimum of $50 million in market capitalization. Market capitalization refers to the market price of the entire company. This is calculated by multiplying the number of shares in investor hands by the market price of the stock. Similar to standards 1 and 2, the company must meet a minimum $15 million market value public float and a minimum of $4 million in shareholder equity. Lastly, its share price must be at least $2.
I'm not so sure of that; JP Morgan did the secondary at $450MM in Sept 2009. I'm sure JP Morgan has got the word out on Lynas. Would be great if listed as an ADR; might happen but not until Q3 when production starts.
