I've had trouble figuring out the Lynas reporting. They are Aussie and conform to the Aussie rules. I've not seen regular reports. Do they file with a "SEC-type" organization? Are they on the company website for past quarters?
Perhaps this is obvious and I have not tried looking at this moment, but have looked in the past. Thanks for the heads up about the report on the last quarter (again, sorry to be ignorant, but that is for Q1-2013, Jan, Feb, Mar?)
Voting machine they do file everything with the AU equivalent of SEC. In the AU like Canada and some other counties the exchange is responsible for policing its members so you will see it filled with ASX. ASX then forwards it to government. I am not sure of how this actually works. AU complies with international accounting standards. As a company that is still in preproduction they are only required to file limited information manly cash flow and balance sheet, in Q1 and Q3. The yearly report, their year ends June 30, has all the data that you are use to. The semi annual report also has much more data. Here again things are different than we are use to. Next July they will release the Q4 report which in the past has been brief. Late August early September they will release the full annual report which has all the data you are use to. The annual report and semi do not get the coverage they should. All these reports are in the investor section of there web site. When Lynas starts production in PY Q4 they will have to publish more of the data you are use to Quarterly. So this Fridays report should be the last with just cash flow and balance info.
In the US only companies that have a really bad Q to report, report on Friday. I do not know about AU. It will be interesting.
