Go to the Icahn website - review the investor presentations material. It will address all your questions.
Now I'm confused. I visited the Icahn website and it looks like IEP has Icahn Capital as one of its nine areas, but another website shows Icahn Capital holding IEP stock. I will leave this conversation up to someone who knows how it all fits together. Sorry, I didn't want to mislead anyone with my limited understanding of how it works.
This is not correct. Icahn moved billions of his investment funds into IEP so that IEP would have a big kicker so Netflix, Herbalife, Apple, etc. are all benefiting shareholders of IEP. I am surprised everyone commenting here doesn't have a clue of what they are saying. Bottom line - all the stocks Icahn buys benefits IEP.
