KKR is a partnership that pays distributions, not dividends. Based on their internal formula of profits and/or cash flow the distribution is determined quarterly. In an excellent quarter like just reported they will pay significantly different than a poorer quarter. I've seen a significant increased estimate per unit for the quarter just reported, but I don't know the validity of that estimate. Seems to me that distribution and recent earnings are indicative of an underpriced equity. Just added more to my personal and daughter's accounts Friday.
