Yup, been calculating again.
OK, Estimates say earning will grow around 12% - 12.5% this year. Now, RF has $350 million to use for buy backs. So, they could buyback like 35 - 40 million shares at these prices, which would decrease the shares and increase EPS.
Figure if earnings MAY grow 12.5%, share price may lag to 10% from current price, gives us a PPS of around $9.10. There for I feel now is the time for the company to repurchase shares now.
May add a couple a pennies to a nickle for 14 estimates of $.83 per share.
Less shares outstanding could give a dividend of $.20 - $.24 per share.
Suddenly RF dividend is respectable, at 2. 4% - 2.9% yield, payout ratio is low.
Makes me feel, cards fall right, $9.00 - $9.25 12/31/2013, and between $11.25 - $11.75 end of 2014. Economy improves sooner than last quarter this year I would bump up my expectations. If economy worsens, I would take profits, but me, I am an optimist.
I foresee, in best case, $.30 dividend per share by 2015, or at current price a 3.62% yield on cost.
personally I use the Warren Buffet strategy , its simple and it works........just ask your self 2 questions based on the data already available on yahoo. is the stock cheap and will it make more money in the future than it did this year and last year. If you answer yes to both then BUY BUY BUY..................simple but it works. runing around thinking you cn beat goldman sachs at stock analysis is pure Obamabologna.
just read article about internet banking which mentions BAC, HBAN, COF,JPM as winners in that area but no mention of RF. if they are not doing more in mobile banking how will they do long run? I must admit I never invested in BOFI and today see it over $100. wow
Wow! "based on the data already available on yahoo." I don't know, but my guess would be Warren has never used any data from yahoo to make his decisions. In fact Warren has been making money since before yahoo existed. If it works, go for it.
