J.P. Morgan Lowers Price Target on Sherwin-Williams to $83

the 30% we save from using ppg , represents contractor prices. it is actually 50% or more off the over inflated retail price shw commands. to your credit they are concerned with shaeholders only, and could give a rats cahoo, about the long term contractors that got them this far.

    • I have been using Sherwin Williams products for years, but have used competitive products as well. You must not be measuring similar products when you say there is a huge quality difference. The products I use perform well, save me money, but more importantly the customers are very, very happy for years. That is why they refer me all the time to others. My customers actually request Sherwin Williams products knowing they will be happy. I can't speak for what your customers say. I just go with what works for me.

      • you are a lier. paint is all the same when comparing the top quality verus low quality. the only difference is price points, of which shw is way overpriced. this stock will contiue to grind higher with the market, I give it a few more weeks till you see sub 80. the stock went up on the takeovers of others , and price increases, hench, they purchased the customers, and projected same volumes with increase eps and revs. it will end soon.
