Cubby, IBD is helpful in the relative strength ratings,
but simply buying momentum will value trap the
person who does not do their own due diligence.
Fundamentally Heska is a weak 3rd place in its
sector, and has been backsliding against the
bigger competitors. Heska's core products are
in a secular decline. It will take a strong turnaround
to convince me. We are not likely to see Wilson's
effect on the revenue until 3rd/4th quarter.
Heska is rising on the tide rather than fundamentals.
As for the rabbi? Henny Youngman he wasn't.
His handle, and references bordered on anti-semite?
I know he was trying to be funny. But I think he was
a board troll, who went to other sites to promote
his favorite longs. Good luck with Heska!
Even though I sound negative. I have been a
shareholder since early 2009. I have held a core
position inspite of the mgmt. Wilson could be
the answer I have been ragging about for the last
3yrs? He's a salesman, now in charge of a sales
company. That is a refreshing change.
Time will tell whether Wilson can effect a turnaround
at Heska? But it is worth watching.
