If you look at zoning regulations page 56 or 59 (Actual page sheet numbers) states the barn does have zoning approval for 6000 square feet for agricultural use and must employ 5 people. The permit for the barn clearly states farm use and storage. I have pictures of the permit. The BIG question is will HC issue a license when Town council hasnt approved full operation of the facility? Yet Both barns are connected as one now. Any residents who complains could always be bought out. Why is Bill not addressing the issues????
The new application is stating they will hire the required 50 people in order to be in compliance. There are many hurdles to jump........however, i will objectively say this point...millions have been spent on this facility....but what engineers knowingly do drawings to build a barn that will be used for a commercial growing application with the WRONG zoning permit?
You cannot read. Did variance, then to speed up completion for LICENSE approval requirements. Now they have buildings to go, even phase TWO all ok'd ready from initial proposal and permit. You do know "farm use" means a lot more then just storage.. growing is a farm use, selling is a farm use, judging is a farm use, farm use has lots of meanings. When you claim farm you claim everything to do with a farm.. oh and a farm makes money doesn't lose so that would make it commercial ie makes money off of others
