I was a stockholder probably before most of you. I held novavax for years. Now I see the news. I was thinking of getting in monday morning. Now I read the post about the offering of more shares. That makes me hesitate. If I get in monday morning....when is the best entry point? Premarket? First half-hour of trading? Do you foresee a pullback? I don't want to be chasing it all day to find I could have gotten in lower. Thanks.
Same for me, I've bought this stock at least 10 times in the last 5 years, and almost always got stopped out at my 8% limit. This year, when I funded my IRA on 4/15, I bought 2300 shares on 4/20 @ .869. Lucky me, for once!
I would say look for an entry in pre-market..right at 8am .. or look for a dip prior to 9:30 .. after 9:30 you could be chasing in the 4's .. or 5's depending on news breaking .. on each news release, there could be 2 dollar spikes on each release .. remember this use to trade at 9 plus with no news .. now there is news.. so..who knows... could get nuts
hesitation will get you nowhere. On monday, if you pick and choose timing and look for a pullback... I'd say that the price of $8 during midday will pull back to$6.50... That's the time you should jump in. Then hold until the shares are well over $20 later in the year.
Good Luck. Your guess is good as anybody's. Do what you think is right. The dillution is a non- issue for at least a month and if Novavax can get a government contract a stockpiling contract and a regional deal it won't be an issue at all.
