He actually laid out the case for apple very well. He was very much stuck in the middle. On one hand, he said if apple just has an average day, it might be a big sell off (which happened the quarter before). On the other hand, he said the apple had a great Christmas as evidenced by conversations he had with apple suppliers. He didn't tell anyone to do anything but rather laid both sides of the discussion. I am ot a Cramer fan, but it is like anyone else. He occassionaly said something that was very wise and carefully considered. I had already traded apple about four times before the earnings, but after his comments, I decided to buy 100 shares to trade. I made $2,300.
As far as MLPs, he is very bullish the entire sector, not just KMP. So, if he discussions MLPs, it will be positive.
His call on KMP has been a winner. Not so much this week, but look at the six month chart before you complain. Of course if you bought on Monday you are not happy. He's been hawking KMP for at least a year.
