Why is this stock getting hammered so bad?

All the mlp's got hammered today.
Most likely due to the cliff.
Could be folks in the $250k tax bracket are he reason for the selloff.
I think congress will pass the $200k rule.
I will hang on to kmp and all other mlp's.Sentiment: Strong Buy

entier sector or MLP's is getting destroyed. I suspect it is assumption (or knowledge by hedge funds) that the President will try to take MLP tax benefit away as they did in Canada on Halloween a few years ago. It also might be the assumption the administration will try to destroy any energy company they can now that we did not fire them in the last election

You do realize that both Houses of Congress would have to approve any legislation that would do what you "suspect"? That will not happen. We have a President elected by the majority of voters and we have Congress and the Supreme Court to provide checks and balances. We do not have a King or a dictator. In the future, please try to provide rational comments, not specious, inflammatory rhetoric.

I suspect that money is actually wanting to move into this sector, especially given the fact that we are on a path to energy self sufficiency that requires above all else the ability to transport oil, lng and everything else to where it can be processed and utilized. These folks will short it down as far as they can and then go long.
