i am not a fan of stock splits BUT.
paa split 2 for 1 oct 2,2012 at $89.76 it opened oct 3 at $44.88
since then it has gone up about 30%. that is not bad for a none event.

Stock splits make is easier to market the shares but a have no effect on the value of the position. A high price makes the stock seem special , Berkshire for instance. I vote leave it alone.

If you're a long term investor, not a trader, stock splits can be very good for shareholders. By long term i mean 10 -20 years or more. Buy & "forget". Have done pretty well with a few stocks that used to split over & over again - in one case, 275 shares became nearly 5000.

maybe over 100.00 the split but Kinder doesnt need one,if anything they will buy back there own stock which is better than a split.Kinders Div keepss it going and there Chart is excellent for a strong buy.
