    Union Wins @ Grass Lake

No one wins during a strike!!!! The Company suffers! The Union members suffer. There is finacial hardship placed upon families.
So where due you come off saying,"Union Wins @ Grass Lake". The strike pay is hardly a replacement for the weekly pay check that most of the strikers where used to receiving. The unions numbers are reduced weekly as more, and more members cross the picket line.

    • Thanks for your support JoeDirt . You all up there in misMANAGEMENT can join their union anytime that you wish.

WHERE DO YOU COME OFF SAYING NO ONE WINS DURING A STRIKE? IT IS OBVIOUS YOU DON'T HAVE A BACK BONE TO STAND UP FOR YOURSELF. EVERYONE AT TENNECO WILL WIN WITH THIS STRIKE.

No real union men have crossed the line and no one is suffering.

You all don't have a grasp on the real world. You all have been brainwashed by the Tenneco philosophy. Talk to anyone that has left there and see what their views are on this matter. It has been twisted to, right is wrong, left is right, and north is south.
Keep doing what the management tells you to do and all of your benefits will be gone.

The UNION contract ultimately gives all employees a better pay and benefits package.

THAT IS WHAT THIS CONFLICT IS ALL ABOUT.

WHEN THE UNION WINS AND THEY WILL.

      WE ALL BENEFIT.

PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE. THIS IS A WAR BETWEEN THE WORKERS OF TENNECO AND THE MANAGEMENT AT TENNECO. THAT IS WHAT SCARES YOUR COMPANY. IT IS NOT THE UNION. IT IS US THE WORKERS, UNION AND NON-UNION ALIKE THAT WANT BETTER BENEFITS AND WAGES AND THE UNION IS FIGHTING FOR ALL OF US.

STAND BEHIND THE ONLY VOICE AVAILABLE TO YOUR CAUSE. RIGHT NOW IT IS THE UNION AT YOUR GATES THAT IS STANDING UP TO THIS GOLIATH.

      • WHAT A IDIOT YOU ARE !!!!!!!!.

For you to say that no person suffered because of the strike and, that noone crossed shows what kind of idiots work here at tenneco.unions are about as frighting as a toothless tiger or in your case a head without a brain

Tell the truth and add up your dues and money lost in wages because of this paper tiger and the hardship they put on the people who dont want anything to do with the useless union then say that garbage that noone was hurt.

        Your quote for the day:

A FOOL IS BORN EVERYDAY,AND QUESS WHAT-THAT FOOL IS YOU.

    • That is a wonderful post Joe dirt.

The company is comprised of many people. Therefore, when you say the company suffers, you are saying many people suffer. That is a choice of management. Management can chose to spend 30 times as much as they seek to save on a contract. Management can chose to negotiate in good faith or not. Management can chose to violate federal statutes or not. Management can chose to impose or not, and much more. Therefore, the choices made by a few powerful people are what affect everyone else.

The Union employees always chose to negotiate. However, a negotiation requires 2 parties at the table. Imposition is not negotiation.

Sure it is not easy to stand up for what you believe. Sure, it is a lot easier to just think of yourself. If, everyone felt it was better to let the next person handle it, then where would we all be?
In my opinion, that is the basis of fascism. Fascism thrives on division. Read that poem written about ww2 era Germany. In that poem the writer never stood up as he watched the Nazis come to take away group after group. The writer was fine until finally they came to take him. Maybe, someone can post that poem please.

We are very unfortunate that most of this countrys ww2 veterans are very old or gone. Yet, we still have the Vietnam era veterans and protestors to provide some common sense and backbone. Remembering the past helps us to eliminate the mistakes of the future.

We will continue to stand united. The buck stops here!
      Enjoy your holiday.

    • joedirt49240, have Pat do a little more research before she types up some more of this crap for you.
Who is suffering? Our customer base is suffering.
Get those men back in here to work so we don't lose our customers.
They have a wage that is about $40K per year. What is yours? $1,000,000. Give in just a little, say about half of your salary to cover all of their contract for the next 3 years.
Where does the blame belong on this power struggle?

We all will win over this strike!!!!

The union men will lose some pay for our benefit but we will still all win.
God bless the union men who are fighting for all of us.
