Just discovered this board...Sent in my proxy of 2133 AGAINST MEAD a couple of weeks ago. Great to hear so many in agreement. But no one seems to understand the real problem with Tenneco's management...Most of the hand-picked executives are former White House Fellows or somehow related to former government jobs. Need I say more?
Yea....I did look in the little proxy book and the chart of stock performance shows Tenneco nosing down while both the S&P 500 and the Peer Group of stocks zooming upward.
How did management let that happen? If they can't do any better than at least a peer group then we need new management and some new directors who can direct management to add some value to the stockholders' investment.
Are we paying these directors anything for this kind of work?
I'm mailing my voted proxy in tomorrow. Thanks for the insight and voting recommendations on this board. Thank you yahoo too.
Before the sale of TGP to EPG was completed, Dana brought in a friend's son from Louisville, KY. The guy had nothing to do but wait for the sale and his big bonus check. The guy has since gone back to his former position in Louisville, but much more comfortable. Dana has given new meaning to the word friendship.
Take a look at the stock price today. Dana must have gone to work today. Looks like a good day to dump it!
Get those NO proxies in the mail. Call all your friends! Tenneco needs to see what the moral majority thinks about Dana.
