I have been reading these messages for a couple
of weeks and you people are pathetic! If all I had
to say about a company was negative then I would
sell my stock and/or quit the company and try to find
something better. Good grief,,, show a little optimism or
The really sad thing about this whole Tenneco
mess is that normal, hardworking people with families
to take care of are losing their jobs and receiving
small severance packages if any. The guys at the top
sit back with no guilt (weve taken care of our
employees) while receiving golden parachutes in their
contracts that are so large you and I could probably live
on them the rest of our lives.

the end, however, they paid me alot of money for
silence, and failed to ruin my career. The morale, there
is life after Tenneco no matter how beaten down one
Tenneco has underperformed all possible indices
since the end of
1993. All you have to do is look at
the proxy statement. Total
including the dividend, over the past five years has been
dismal. It looks like the board finally woke up this week
and told management to run the company instead of
trying to destroy value with dilutive acquisitions.

still up? Why did Deckhead leave. We didn't even have a
chance to trade barbs. Nice to see that MHT and stockman
are hanging around. Would like to know the reak
skinny on the ITT deal. Haven't heard any gossip at all.
