"As far as trading funds etc..., we haven't done any of that."

Key to GLW plan is doing it on line. All trades are costed at the offical end of day price, and not what it cost's the plan. All decisions are processed at 4:00. So you can wait until 3:59:40 to "save" and lock in a transfer of funds. For example, if I was going to sell GLW in the plan, I would watch real time data on Scottrader, and get on line with the plan, and make my selection, then not hit the save until the above time. GLW can change a lot in the last minute so you can decide to transfer, or not at the last few seconds. So, if I was going to move from GLW to Stable, and the price fell in the last minute of trading, would wait for another day.

I do not play GLW in the plan but can do Vanguard Index by watching the S&P 500 number.

    Have a nice evening.
