There was a reason. Prospects of BK went from 35%-50% down to about 10%. Prospect of $12 in two years not unreasonable. Then someone noticed they had a pot of gold back in the shed. Called USPL. Worth about $850 mil. Then someone noticed that their half interest in Dow-Corning might be worth a $Bil. Some wonder what else they might find back in the shed.
