Warning for stocks that miss guidance...Please Read!!!

In the wake of horrible losses incurred by AAPL and RIMM investors I have requested a definition change to the definition of ***Guidance/Growth slowing*** to read as follows: "Destroy stock, and or life of shareholders that own such stock", Create havoc and change life style of large groups of people usually executed by extremely wealthy group of aristocrats sometimes known as the billionaire boys club that do not feel the plight of such shareholders", Manipulate until destruction is evident effecting all aspects of life including ones real-estate holdings leading to a subsequent lifetime membership to the city of hope soup kitchen".

    • Actually, this was more of a parody about the chaos some investors have had to endure lately with stocks losing 50% or more of their value, just because they wanted to tell the truth about their guidance. Some will read it and see more truth than others. It was not meant as a long or short mechanism for GLW. Most think the world is not that way, and its better that they do. Unfortunately, I have done this for over 30 years, and have worked directly in the business for around 10. Prior to 2008 it rarely ever happened in the context that I am evaluating. I am long, but I have seen stock after stock get hammered viciously just because guidance was slowing. Insurance is always a great idea, and more are using it than ever before. If you have invested in this market for more than 5 years you have seen the fundamental change that has taken place. The greed meter since 2008 is off the charts. We are all in this together, yet the only thing we lack is the entire story.
