Funny but true. It appears that indy, vinnie and gf are all star war groupies

this explains there craziness. gf and vinnie mentioned they were borgs so I looked it up on line. Can you picture these left wing kooks dressing up in star war costumes and attending conventions. These are the people we are discussing politics with. This explains everything. Definition below.

Borg is a collective proper noun for a fictional alien race that appears as recurring antagonists in various incarnations of the Star Trek franchise. The Borg are a collection of species that have been turned into cybernetic organisms functioning as drones of the Collective, or the hive. A pseudo-race, dwelling in the Star Trek universe, the Borg force other species into their collective and connect them to "the hive mind"; the act is called assimilation and entails violence, abductions, and injections of cybernetic implants. The Borg's ultimate goal is "achieving perfection".

    • Oh my Boxman, you've mixed up the sci fi franchises.

Star Wars is the one with Princess Leia.

Star Trek was the one with Captian Kirk and Captian Picard. You'd love the Firengi. "They and their culture are characterized by a mercantile obsession with profit and trade, and their constant efforts to swindle unwary customers into unfair deals. They are also known for their business acumen and for rampant misogyny," (Source, WIKI)
